Personal Lubricant

Are you tired of suffering from vaginal dryness? In that case, someone may have recommended you try out vaginal dryness creams. But are they really effective?

It depends. Creams can help relieve vaginal dryness. Sometimes, they work better than ordinary lubricants. They certainly have more staying power. But they are not for everyone.

You need to check the ingredients which are in the cream. Are they for moisturization? Or do they contain herbs which are designed to increase your libido? These work by inflaming the area. For some women, this does increase libido. But for others, it's just painful and uncomfortable.

There are better ways to relieve dryness naturally. If you don't want to use lubrication, you can try remedies designed to increase your natural production of lubrication. There are several supplements that many women say are very effective. Many even have a free trial.

If dryness persists beyond a few weeks, you will want to speak to your doctor. It is possible you have a condition known as vaginal atrophy. This develops when your estrogen levels drop below a certain point. It's very treatable by increasing your estrogen. Most the time, your doctor will start you on a low dose course of estrogen therapy.

Vaginal dryness creams are somewhat effective. However, they are not for everyone. You may be better off just using a normal personal lubricant. Or trying a natural remedy. Just make sure you get persistent dryness checked out. You don't want to let vaginal atrophy continue unchecked.
